Quilter Financial Planning adds six AP firms to advice network

Quilter Financial Planning has added a further six appointed representative (AP) firms to its advice network.

The financial advice network of Quilter confirmed the additions of Abbeygate Wealth Management, Jonathan Barkey Financial Planning, EJW Financial Planning, Ark Wealth Management, TLF Wealth Management Ltd, and CG Financial Consultancy.

Abbeygate Wealth Management is based in Suffolk and led by director, James Stott, with three financial planners and three support staff.

Edinburgh-based Jonathan Barkey Financial Planning is led by Jonathan Barkey, while EJW Financial Planning is based in Norfolk and headed by Jonathan Barkey, and Ark Wealth Management is based in London and led by James Wallace.

TLF Wealth Management Ltd is headquartered in Somerset, led by Dan Hewitt and non-advising principles Tom Horsey, Connor Fitzgerald, and Michelle Martin, and Worcestershire-based CG Financial Consultancy is led by Christopher Gledhill.

Quilter Financial Planning managing director, Stephen Fryett, said the continued additions to its advice network underlined the “strength and attractiveness” of its network proposition.

“Increasingly, experienced advisers are reassessing how they want to operate and how best to serve their clients in a changing advice landscape,” Fryett continued.

“Many are looking for the flexibility to build their own brand, access a broad range of investment solutions and operate within a structure that provides robust oversight without compromising entrepreneurial ambition.

“We are delighted to welcome these firms to Quilter Financial Planning and look forward to supporting them as they continue to grow and deliver high-quality financial advice to their clients.”

Commenting on its addition to the network, Ark Wealth Management director, James Wallace, said: “I chose to partner with Quilter because it provides me with the platform to truly have my own business and the freedom to grow.

“Most importantly I did it for my clients. It's a market-leading offering with a broad spectrum of solutions to ensure every client is catered for.”

Abbeygate Wealth Management director, James Stott, added: "After two years of careful research and consideration across the financial services market, we felt that the best option for our business but more importantly our clients was to partner with Quilter.

“This will allow us to benefit from its strong proposition, wider flexibility of solutions and peace of mind from an administration and regulatory perspective."
