Evelyn Partners has appointed Gabriela Turner as a new director in its London financial planning team.
Turner joins the firm from Satis Wealth Management where she worked for over four years, most recently as senior financial planner. Prior to that, Turner had four years of experience at the Quilter/Old Mutual Private Client Adviser business. Evelyn Partners said Turner’s appointment strengthened its financial planning capability at its Gresham Street headquarters, where nearly 70 practitioners provide wealth management services.
Global service provider Hawksford has promoted Laura Nevitt to the role of managing director - private client and family office in Jersey.
Previously head of family office for Jersey, Nevitt’s new role will see her being responsible for a 50-strong team of private client professionals with a remit to grow and enhance Hawksford’s proposition for private client and family office services. Nevitt joined Hawksford in 2017 and specialises in family office solutions, luxury assets, and international asset protection and succession planning.
Quilter Cheviot Europe (QCE) has appointed Morgan Whelan as relationship and investment manager.
Whelan joins QCE from Bank of Ireland, where he most recently served as manager for Limerick. He brings experience in wealth management, financial planning, and client relations to the role, which will be “instrumental” in supporting the growth of QCE’s footprint presence in Ireland. QCE said Whelan’s appointment strengthened its regional footprint and reinforced its commitment to providing high-quality investment management and financial planning services to clients across Ireland.
