Wealth management and financial planning firm Advies Private Clients has announced the acquisition of specialist financial planner Nicholas Trayford.
The addition of Trayford’s business will see Advies Private Clients increase its client assets by £100m and its number of clients by 100.
Trayford’s business will continue to operate under the Advies Private Clients brand.
Advies Private Clients said the acquisition marked a strategic step in its long-term growth plan to expand its financial planning capabilities through the integration of client-focused businesses.
It added that bringing in Trayford would strengthen the firm’s advisory proposition and reinforce its presence in the market.
Trayford’s clients will continue to receive his dedicated services, with the addition of Advies Private Clients’ infrastructure and expertise.
Advies Private Clients is part of the Saltus Partnership Programme, with the deal being supported by financing from the group.
“Advies is built on a strong advice-led culture, robust financials and a clear commitment to delivering lasting value to our clients,” commented Advies Private Clients partner, James Wills.
“Nick's business is a natural fit, sharing our values and client-first approach. We’re pleased to welcome Nick and his clients to Advies.”
Trayford added: “Advies offered a truly unique proposition in the market - something I couldn’t find anywhere else.
“Their flexible approach is thoughtfully tailored to meet all my professional and client needs, making them the ideal partner for the next stage of my business journey.
“Partnering with Advies will allow me to elevate the service I offer to clients, with greater resources and more time dedicated to what matters most - supporting clients in achieving their financial goals.”
