Skybound Wealth Management has appointed Craig Stokes and UK managing director, subject to regulatory approval.
The appointment comes amid the firm’s planned UK expansion, with Stokes bringing more than 20 years of experience in retirement planning, pension transfers, and holistic wealth advice to the role. He has held senior positions at firms including Prudential and, most recently, served as managing director of PFM Associates. Skybound said that Stokes’ appointment marked a long-planned shift in how the firm further supports its British client base.
Investor services group IQ-EQ has named Dean Douglas as its head of private wealth for Jersey.
Douglas has been with IQ-EQ for more than 20 years and has held a range of senior positions during this time. He has gained experience in private wealth structuring, from both an accounting and administration perspective, taking on several senior roles and growing teams across client accounting and administration departments. Douglas joined the board of IQ-EQ Jersey in 2020, and his most recent role was client relationship director.
Principal Asset Management has appointed Phil Wood as head of equities client portfolio management.
In this newly established leadership role, Wood will lead the global client portfolio management team, overseeing the articulation and positioning of the firm’s equity investment capabilities across markets and client channels. He has more than 25 years of investment industry experience, and most recently served as global head of client portfolio management – equities at Janus Henderson Investors. Prior to that, he held senior positions at American Century Investments and Munder Capital Management.
