Marsh has appointed Deborah Wardle as Mercer international chief investment officer (CIO).
Wardle succeeds Garvan McCarthy, who will continue in his role as global alternatives CIO. In her new role, Wardle will lead Mercer’s investment teams in the UK, Europe, India and Middle East, and Asia, helping drive portfolio outcomes for clients. He will also partner with regional commercial and investor segment leaders to strengthen Mercer’s client solutions, connecting its asset class and investment platform capabilities. Wardle has been with Mercer for 16 years, and her most recent role was head of portfolio management for Europe, India and the Middle East. Prior to that, she was UK alternatives leader.
Keyridge Asset Management has named Mark Wright as head of regional sales, UK.
In the role, Wright will be responsible for Keyridge’s regional distribution strategy across the UK, leading a team of business development managers focused on strengthening relationships with financial advisers, wealth managers, and intermediary partners. He brings more than 20 years of experience across sales distribution and investment research. Wright joins Keyridge from Liontrust, where he spent eight years, most recently serving as head of UK regional distribution. Prior to that, he held regional sales roles at Jupiter Asset Management and Miton. Earlier in his career, he worked as a research analyst at AFH Wealth Management and T. Bailey Asset Management.
One Four Nine Group has appointed Lucy Bristow as chief operating officer.
The financial planning and investment advice firm said Bristow would work with its CEO to support its operational infrastructure and strategic direction. Bristow’s career has spanned almost 30 years, holding a variety of senior leadership roles, including a seven-year stint at fintech platform Wealthtime. While at Wealthtime, she held roles including deputy CEO and managing director, ultimately serving as chief customer officer. Bristow’s other previous roles include head of operations at James Hay and head of customer services at Ascentric. She also currently serves as co-chair of the Transfers Committee for The Platforms Association.
