People moves: Nucleus, Schroders, and Boston

Nucleus Financial Platforms has appointed Andrew Ring as its chief financial officer (CFO).

Ring will join Nucleus in September, also becoming a member of the executive committee and joining the group board, subject to regulatory approval. He brings two decades of experience from working across the financial services sector, and is currently chief financial and commercial officer for FNZ in the UK, Middle East, and Africa, having previously been CFO for the firm’s UK business. Prior to joining FNZ, Ring was group finance director at Hitachi Capital UK and spent eight years at Barclays Group, latterly as finance director for its UK corporate banking division.

Schroders has named Simon Adler as its new head of value equities.

Adler joined Schroders 16 years ago and specialises in global and international value investing. In his new role, Adler will focus on ensuring Schroders’ team-based value investment approach harnesses opportunities offered by uncertain markets. He replaces former head of value equities, Nick Kirrage, who will be leaving the firm to pursue other opportunities.

Boston Multi Family Office has announced a series of promotions across its Isle of Man office.

Ian Mudie has been promoted to senior client relationship manager and will serve as the engagement lead for a portfolio of high net worth (HNW) families and corporate clients. Francesca Epifani has stepped into the role of fiduciary manager, following her previous role as client relationship manager, and has over 25 years of experience in trust and company administration. Shauna Schumacher has been promoted to manager - business development, having formerly been senior business development administrator. Callan Cooper and Luke Murray have both advanced to the role of client relationship manager, and Holly Low has been promoted to senior client relationship administrator.
