People moves: HSBC Private Bank, Fidelity, W1M, and Titan Wealth

HSBC has announced the appointment of Ida Liu as chief executive officer of HSBC Private Bank.

Liu brings more than 25 years of experience in wealth management, strategic advisory, and business transformation to the role. Most recently, she served as global head of Citi Private Bank, where she led the business spanning key wealth markets and advised ultra high net worth (UHNW) clients on their investment, liquidity, and legacy needs. Liu began her career in investment banking, advising Fortune 500 companies on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets strategies, with more than half of her investment banking career spent in Asia. At HSBC Private Bank, she will focus on deepening the firm’s relationships with UHNW clients, strengthening cross-border connectivity across key wealth corridors, and accelerating the growth of the private bank globally. The appointment will take effect from 5 January 2026.

Fidelity International has appointed Graham Folley as head of model portfolio service (MPS) and intermediary solutions.

In the newly created role, Folley will lead the development and delivery of Fidelity’s MPS and broader intermediary solutions proposition, working closely with advisers, platforms, and discretionary managers across the UK. Folley has more than 30 years of experience across intermediary distribution, model portfolios, and outsourced investment solutions. He was previously head of business development and discretionary sales at Quilter, where he spent 22 years across different roles.

W1M Wealth Management has appointed Alistair Jackson and Poppy Campbell-Lamerton to its US Private Wealth and Private Wealth teams, and Oliver Jones-Davies to its Charities team.

The appointments bring a combined 45 years of wealth, financial planning and investment experience to W1M’s integrated wealth and investment management proposition. Jackson joins from Tanager Wealth Management LLP where he spent seven years delivering holistic financial planning and investment solutions to HNW and UHNW individuals and families. As a wealth manager in the US Private Wealth team, Jackson will advise onshore and offshore clients, particularly in the US, to provide robust cross-border strategies. Campbell-Lamerton joins from 7IM, where she spent seven years advising a broad range of clients on tailored investment strategies and financial planning. Prior to that, she spent two years working as an investment assistant at Investec Wealth & Investment UK. Jones-Davies joins as a portfolio manager in the Charities team. He has worked in financial services for 30 years and joins from CCLA Investment Management, where he spent 16 years working with charity and foundation clients. He has also held senior roles at Barclays, HSBC, and ING Barings.

Titan Wealth has named Andrew Ingram and Brett Coombs-Goodfellow as senior investment managers, and Brendan McCullagh as senior compliance administrator.

The appointments come as Titan Wealth looks to grow its presence in Jersey. They follow Mark Rondel and Richard Thomas joining the Jersey office to focus on business development, and come at the end of a year in which the company rebranded to Titan Wealth and completed the acquisition and rebrand of Advisa Wealth. Ingram has worked in investment management for nearly 40 years, including nearly a decade in London. Coombs-Goodfellow spent three years in Australia before returning to Jersey in 2019 to work in private equity and then investment management.
