Gresham House Ventures has appointed Jens Düing as head of portfolio, private equity.

The growth equity division of Gresham House is expanding its senior team. Düing will have responsibility for all aspects of portfolio management, including the development of value creation strategies for portfolio companies. Before joining Gresham House Ventures, Düing served as a senior partner at Frog Capital, where he oversaw the firm’s investment operations. He brings more than 20 years of experience to the role, having started his career at Dresdner Kleinwort in 2002. He also gained experience at Pioneer Point Partners, Fidelity Equity Partners, and Apax.

Sarasin & Partners has named Aimee Searle as regional business development manager, covering Wales and the south west.

Seale has 18 years of experience in financial services and has developed relationships with intermediary firms in Wales and the south west of the UK through previous roles at Aegon and LV. She began her career in the industry at Legal & General. As Sarasin & Partners’ lead for Wales and the south west, Searle will aim to strengthen the relationships that the firm already has in the area and further develop new opportunities with professional intermediaries.

J O Hambro Capital Management has announced two appointments in its Global Emerging Markets Opportunities team.

Roshni Bolton rejoins the firm as a fund manager, bringing more than 12 years of experience across equity markets and fund structures to the role. Bolton began her career as an analyst in UK equities at J O Hambro before working at Kintbury Capital as an investment analyst. Additionally, Jack Gater has been named as an analyst in the Global Emerging Markets Opportunities team. He joined J O Hambro in 2022 as a member of the Investment Risk team. Prior to joining J O Hambro, he worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co.
