Cross-border financial planning firm AAF Financial Planning Europe launches

A new firm aiming to simplify cross-border financial planning for British expats in Europe, AAF Financial Planning Europe, has launched.

It will provide tax-led, cross-border financial planning to British citizens in Europe amid growing demand, as expats navigate increasingly complex tax, pension, and residency rules.

AAF Financial Planning Europe specialises in helping clients to structure investments across jurisdictions, navigate cross-border tax and residency rules, plan for retirement in Europe, and cross-border wealth transfers.

The newly established firm will bring together a team with experience spanning international financial planning, expatriate taxation, private banking, and wealth management.

The team has held senior positions at firms including Lloyds International, Nedbank, The Fry Group, The Arlo Group, and ATC Tax.

"Too often, pensions, investments, estate planning and taxation are treated as separate disciplines,” commented AAF Financial Planning Europe managing director, Finn Houlihan.

“For expatriates living internationally, these areas are deeply interconnected. Our approach is designed to bring them together into a single, coherent strategy that reflects the realities of cross-border living.

"We want to provide British expatriates with a joined-up service that gives them clarity, confidence and peace of mind as they build their lives and wealth across Europe.

“We are proud to launch a firm built on deep technical expertise, international experience, and a shared commitment to doing things properly for clients who live and work across borders.”
