The Jersey-based subsidiary of Evelyn Partners, Evelyn Partners International, has relocated to a new office in St. Helier.
The firm said that the relocation tied in with its decision to sell its professional services division, with the sale expected to complete by the end of the first quarter.
Alongside the office move, Evelyn Partners International has announced a series of new hires as it seeks to strengthen its investment management proposition.
New appointments over the past year include Rod Sallis, who has joined the Jersey team as investment director from Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management, where he was director of stockbroking.
Jason Downie has joined as investment manager from RBC Brewin Dolphin, where he was involved in the active management of fiduciary and private client investments.
Furthermore, Craig McGuire was appointed as an investment director, Ian Leverington joined as associate director, and Steve Barnett was named MLCO and compliance manager.
“Our new location puts us in the heart of the business community in Jersey alongside family businesses, hedge funds and tech entities which align with our DNA of entrepreneurial assistance,” said Evelyn Partners Jersey office managing partner, Matt Falla.
“Along with a new office, I am delighted to welcome new members to our international team. We have expanded our advisory capabilities by bringing in more investment management professionals with a wealth of experience to meet the needs of our clients.
“A new structure and more experience in direct asset management complements our dual expert approach at Evelyn Partners, where clients can be supported by both a financial planner and investment manager.
“In addition to experienced hires, we have considered the succession of our team with the hiring of a graduate and the promotion of an existing team member to help meet our ambitious plans to grow our wealth management business and ensure our clients our managed by multiple different touch points.”
