Whole-of-market advisory firm Towergate Health & Protection has rebranded to Towergate Employee Benefits, the company has announced.

This renaming comes following its recent acquisition of Benefiz, which enabled the firm to add pensions and benefits technology services to its existing services for advising on health, protection, and wellbeing benefits.

Towergate announced the acquisition of Benefiz, which was established to assist smaller employers in offering benefits to employees that are typically available only to larger companies, on 7 October 2024.

The whole-of-market adviser has more than 15,000 clients, with the firm stating that its new identity was a natural evolution that reflected its newly expanded capabilities.

This was the company’s next step in its strategic growth plan, which will be followed by further development of its client propositions and investment in new hires to support the expansion.

Commenting on the announcement, Towergate Employee Benefits CEO, Iain Laws, said the rebranding represented “exciting times” for the firm.

“We’ve built strong foundations looking after our clients by offering award-winning service across our propositions through our talented team,” he stated.

“We’re looking forward to expanding the value we can create for both our current and future clients across an even broader range of services to benefit employers and their people.”
