ISS Market Intelligence (MI) has joined The Platforms Association as an associate member, with the partnership aiming to drive progression across the sector.

The market intelligence provider will work with the association to deliver insights on the key challenges and opportunities facing its members, seeking to address these in a way that supports end-clients.

Along with other associates, ISS MI will look to bring its specialist knowledge and expertise to benefit members and the wider platforms sector.

They will initially look to prioritise the platforms industry’s relationship with model portfolios and discretionary fund managers (DFM).

The key areas of focus over the next few months will include portfolio selection behaviours, behavioural characteristics, and market concentration.

Commenting on the partnership, ISS MI head of strategy & business lead, Mark Hamper, said: “We are proud to have been selected by The Platforms Association to take on this important role.
