Stonehage Fleming has announced a series of promotions to director across the multi-family office group.
In the family office division, Keri Breadner and Tessa Burrows (Isle of Man), Leanne Stuart (Jersey), Darryn Faulds, Ryno Visagie and Luan Fouche (Johannesburg), and Udayesing Bheergoonath (Mauritius) were promoted to director. In investment management, Archie Burt, Mark Leshnick, Miki Caves and Philip Richardson (London) were promoted to director, as was Brad Fainsinger (Johannesburg). The new cohort of directors are accompanied by 12 promotions to associate director, 16 promotions to manager and 25 promotions to senior associate across the group’s offices and services.
Evelyn Partners has appointed Catherine Kirchmann as a partner, investment management.
Kirchmann brings over 25 years of experience in the wealth management sector to the role, having previously worked in London and Hong Kong both personally supporting high net worth clients and successfully leading teams. Prior to joining Evelyn Partners, Kirchmann spent over 15-years at Investec Wealth & Investment, latterly as co-head of its private office based in London and CEO of its Guernsey business. She began her investment career with GAM, where she was a portfolio director.
AI and data platform Saturn has named Gary Abela as its new enterprise partnerships lead.
Abela brings over two decades of experience spanning financial services, AI innovation, and enterprise software, having previously led global projects with PwC, Boston Consulting Group, and Daimler, before co-founding AI fintech, Re:LoA, which he successfully exited earlier this year. Saturn said that hire signalled its ambition to accelerate enterprise adoption of its platform, having recently expanded with the acquisition of Ateb Suitability (Ateb Insights).
