Stonehage Fleming has appointed Bev Stewart as head of family office, Jersey.
Stewart brings more than two decades of experience within investment banking and private wealth to the role. She succeeds Richard Stride, who will serve as a trustee and key adviser to several high net worth international families. Alongside her new position, Stewart will continue to act as a trusted adviser to wealthy international families and assist with their succession planning, governance, and wealth requirements. She joined Stonehage Fleming Group in 2021 and is based in Jersey, reporting to head of family office British Islands, Greg Harris. Prior to joining the group, Stewart served as a director in the investment banking division of Absa.
7IM Private Client has named Angus Robertson as associate director, financial planning, and promoted Morgan Leask to associate director.
Robertson joins from St. James’s Place, where he served as a financial adviser. At 7IM, he will manage a portfolio of high net worth clients, delivering tailored financial and wealth management advice. Leask has been promoted from her role as technical paraplanner, having joined 7IM as a trainee paraplanner. She previously worked as a client manager at Murphy Wealth. In her new role, Leask will also manage a portfolio of clients, providing comprehensive financial planning services.
Nucleus Financial Platforms has announced the appointment of two new non-executive directors (NED) to its board.
Gail Bragg has joined the independent adviser platform group to chair a newly formed Transformation Committee, which will provide specific oversight of the group’s transformation strategy. Alastair Clarkson will also join the Nucleus group board and will chair the Risk Committee, replacing Clare Bousfield who has stepped down. Bragg has industry and platform transformation experience from her time on the boards of Interactive Investor and Alliance Trust Savings, where she chaired the Transformation, Integration and Remuneration Committees. She is currently a board member at The Finli Group. Clarkson has been on the board of Curtis Banks for the last three years and has continued to chair several of its subsidiaries after the acquisition in 2023.
