People moves: Schroders, BRI Wealth Management, and Fidelity

Schroders has named Karine Szenberg as executive vice chair and Matt Oomen as global head of client group.

Szenberg, who is currently global head of client group, will remain on the group executive committee in her new role as executive vice chair, focusing on the acceleration of Schroders’ strategy. Oomen joins the firm as global head of client group from BNY Investments, where he was most recently global head of distribution, and has 30 years of experience in the financial services sector. He will also join the group executive committee at Schroders.

BRI Wealth Management has announced the appointment of Toni Meadows as head of investments.

Meadows will also join the Midlands-based wealth management firm’s management board. He brings more than 30 years of investment industry experience to the role, having served as chief investment officer at Omnis Investments and, most recently, The Private Office. His previous experience also includes head of investment services at Towry.

Fidelity International has appointed Marion Le Morhedec as global chief investment officer, fixed income.

Le Morhedec will join Fidelity in September after two decades with AXA Investment Managers. Most recently, she served as the global head of fixed income and was a member of AXA Investment Managers' management board. Her previous roles at AXA Investment Managers also include head of active fixed income for Europe & Asia, and head of product specialists and solutions for core investment (fixed income, equity, multi asset).
