Schroders has appointed Tom Stephens as its first head of exchange-traded funds (ETF).
Stephens will join the firm from JP Morgan Asset Management (AM), where he worked for eight years as international head of ETF capital markets. At Schroders, Stephens will be responsible for building and executing Schroders’ global ETF strategy across product, infrastructure, distribution, and client engagement. He is also currently the chair of the Investment Association’s ETF Committee. Stephens will join Schroders on 5 January 2026 as the firm looks to grow its ETF offering amid strong client demand.
Investment manager 7IM has named Darren Fancourt as its head of operations.
Fancourt succeeds Anthony Higgs, who has moved to Australia, and will continue to report to chief operations officer, Liz Paradine. Fancourt has been with 7IM for 16 years, most recently as head of trading and operational change where he helped drive scalable growth and operational improvement across the business. Adding further numbers to the team, 7IM also promoted Darren Campbell to deputy head of operations and Dan Cole as IT director. The firm said the appointments marked the next step in its commitment to delivering a best-in-class platform and client experience.
Keyridge Asset Management has appointed Campbell Fleming as chair.
Fleming brings more than 30 years of experience in the investment and asset management industry to the role. He previously held leadership positions at firms including AssetCo, Aberdeen Standard Investments, Columbia Threadneedle Investments, and JPMorgan Asset Management UK. Fleming also serves on the boards of several financial services firms, private companies, and industry and charitable bodies, most recently at Ruffer LLP as deputy chair. At Keyridge, Fleming will provide strategic guidance and independent governance to support its ambitions in the asset management market.
