UK wealth management firm Saltus has appointed Andy Cawker as chair of its asset management division.
Cawker has more than 30 years of experience managing portfolios, cross-asset investment leadership and overseeing complex product groups. In his previous role as head of equities at Insight Investment, he launched and managed innovative investment strategies that delivered impactful client results, Saltus stated. Saltus Asset Management manages assets not just of Saltus clients but also assets for third-party wealth management and financial planning firms, including Saltus partners on the Saltus Partnership Programme. In addition to his recent role at Insight Investment, Cawker has held senior positions at firms including Invesco and Prudential. At Saltus Asset Management, he will focus on enhancing governance, overseeing growth initiatives and ensuring the firm delivers exceptional client outcomes.
Aviva Investors has announced it has reappointed Richard Saldanha to its global equities team following a short period away from the business.
Based in London, Saldanha will report to Aviva Investors head of equities, Isabel Emo Capodilista. He will be returning to manage the Aviva Investors Global Equity Income Fund, which he ran for over 10 years, until November 2024. Saldanha will be supported by the wider global equities team. He originally joined Aviva Investors in 2006, began managing income mandates across a range of global portfolios in 2009, and managed the Global Equity Income Fund since 2013.
Rathbones has named Tessa Curtis as its first director of corporate communications & affairs.
Curtis previously worked as head of group PR and media relations at Entain plc. She also has financial services experience with companies including Legal & General, Barclays, Mirabaud and Santander, and led communications for the launch of Clearpay in the UK. Reporting to chief client officer, Simonetta Rigo, Curtis will own Rathbones’ corporate brand narrative and reputation whilst building an expanded corporate communications team, overseeing external communications, media relations, including financial, and public affairs. Prior to taking the role, Curtis was running her own consultancy, and has also been a director at Fanclub PR.
