People moves: Aviva Investors, Quilter Cheviot, and Jersey FSC

Aviva Investors has announced two senior hires to its UK wealth team.

Hayley Randall has joined as head of UK advisory distribution from HSBC Asset Management, where she held several roles including group relationship manager, and head of wealth and premier in its wealth and private baking business. In her position at Aviva Investors, Randall will be responsible for driving growth and leading distribution for the UK IFA channel, developing relationships with strategic partners, and covering key regional accounts. Meanwhile, James Clark has joined the UK IFA team as strategic partners director, with responsibility for the distribution of Aviva Investors’ range of multi-asset funds and model portfolio solutions to national, network and strategic accounts. Clark has more than 23 years of advisory experience and joins from RBC Brewin Dolphin, where he spent two and a half years as head of nationals, networks & international distribution. Prior to this he held a variety of roles with AXAWealth and Utmost Pan Europe.

Quilter Cheviot has named Peter Gorogh as its head of proposition.

Gorogh will lead Quilter Cheviot’s proposition function, working closely with the distribution team to drive an overarching strategy for propositions aimed at high net worth clients. He previously spent nearly a decade at HSBC Private Bank, heading the UK investments business management, product development and product management functions. Most recently in a consulting capacity with Solve Partners, Gorogh worked with JM Finn as interim head of proposition, and with Rathbones on the merger between Rathbones and Investec Wealth & Investment.

Jersey Financial Services Commission (FSC) has appointed Elaine Walsh to the newly created role of executive director of finance, strategy, and change.

The commission said that the executive role would enable it to deliver an enhanced change agenda and operational improvement, while also ensuring financial control and value for money. The role has direct responsibility for finance, operational excellence and project management. Walsh will play a “pivotal role” in developing Jersey FSC’s 2026+ strategy. Her previous roles include director of finance at Family Nursing & Home Care and chief financial officer at BNP Paribas Channel Islands.
