People moves: Quilter Cheviot, Brown Shipley, and T. Rowe Price

Quilter Cheviot has announced that Alan McIntosh has rejoined the business as chief investment officer for Quilter Cheviot Europe.

McIntosh was most recently chief investment strategist at parent company, Quilter Cheviot, where he served for 18 years, and planned to retire last year after the arrival of Caroline Simmons as chief investment officer at the firm. He will be based in Dublin and will report into Quilter Cheviot Europe chief executive, Andrew Fahy. The appointment, which is subject to regulatory approval, comes following the unexpected death of Quilter Cheviot Europe chief investment officer, Donnacha Fox, at the start of the year.

Brown Shipley, a Quintet Private Bank, has appointed Elizabeth Pindar as a client adviser in its Leeds office.

Pindar most recently served as an investment manager at LGT Wealth Management, where she managed portfolios for private clients, pensions and trusts. Prior to this, she was an investment executive at Redmayne Bentley, where she managed high net worth client portfolios and was a member of strategic asset allocation, equities, fixed income and alternatives committees.

T. Rowe Price has made appointments to its EMEA distribution team and UK intermediary business.

Jenni Jackson has been named as head of EMEA platforms, a newly created role. Jackson will build on the relationships she forged with platforms during her position in the group’s account servicing team. She has 19 years of asset management industry experience and has been with T. Rowe Price since 2012. Jackson will be responsible for shaping and driving the strategic direction and growth of T. Rowe Price’s platform-based distribution across the EMEA region. Meanwhile, Ryan Cosson has been appointed by T. Rowe Price as a relationship manager within its UK intermediary business. Cosson, who rejoined the firm last month, reports to Marcus Gibbon and will focus on supporting intermediary accounts in London. He will also be responsible for nurturing prospective relationships while continuing to serve existing clients. Cosson previously worked at Polar Capital, moving from T. Rowe Price.
