Multrees Investor Services has appointed Helen O’Neill as deputy chief executive officer.
The wealth management service provider said the appointment formed part of its succession planning and investment in its senior team. O’Neill previously spent almost a decade as chief operating officer of Tatton Investment Management, where she supported the firm’s growth from start-up to publicly listed business. She has also held several board-level and advisory positions, providing insight and mentoring support to financial services firms. At Multrees, O’Neill will work in partnership with CEO, Chris Fisher, to lead the execution of the firm’s strategic and commercial objectives.
EV has named Chet Velani as its chief executive officer.
Velani joined the financial planning technology provider as a graduate in 2008 and has progressed through a range of leadership positions spanning actuarial, sales, marketing, product and executive management. Most recently, he served as managing director. During his time as EV, Velani has helped shape the company’s strategy, culture, and proposition. As CEO, he will lead EV's future strategy, enabling financial services to serve more consumers through a continuum of financial planning support, from self-service guidance through to targeted support and hybrid advice to traditional adviser-led planning.
BRI Wealth Management has appointed Paul Stockton as a non-executive director, subject to regulatory approval.
Stockton was chief executive of Rathbones from 2019 to 2025, having previously held the roles of group finance director and managing director of its investment management business. He brings more than three decades of experience across wealth management, investment management and financial services to the Midlands-based wealth management firm. Stockton has also served on several industry bodies and boards, including the Financial Conduct Authority Practitioner Panel and the Personal Investment Management & Financial Advice Association.
