IFA network Financial Solutions launches updated adviser portal

Independent financial adviser (IFA) network Financial Solutions has launched the latest version of its adviser portal Wealth Pilot.

Financial Solutions said the updated client onboarding and servicing portal would enable advisers to gain a more holistic view of client data, bringing file checking and AI onto one client record.

Clients will enter their information once and see the same picture as their advisers, seeking to reduce delays from rework and accelerate turnaround on reports and reviews.

Fact finds, objectives, risk profiles, financial plans, cashflow data, reviews and client documents have been unified for advisers in a single record.

This means no re-keying between systems, while compliance and AI tools will work on the data directly, with the centralised data model controlled by Financial Solutions.

Advised clients can access their own record through a branded portal, with advisers able to ‘view as client’ to see what their client sees.

Vulnerability and life events are recorded as part of the workflow, building Consumer Duty evidence as the adviser goes.

Its ‘Case Checks’ function review advice files against compliance checklists prior to sign-off, assigning ratings detailing findings, evidence, and required fixes.

Meanwhile, Wealth Pilot’s AI assistant, Adviser Intelligence, answers case questions based on a firm’s own records and the adviser's permissions.

“Advisers have been sold a lot of technology that promises to save time and ends up adding another login and another copy of the client’s data,” said Financial Solutions managing director, Leanne Williams.

“We have gone the other way. Wealth Pilot starts with one client record that we control, and everything else – the file checks, the AI, the client portal – works on that record, under our rules.

“An AI tool that cannot show its working is not much use to a compliance officer. Every Case Checks rating comes from a written rule, every finding comes with its evidence, and if the system is not sure, a person looks at it.

“The adviser stays accountable, and the client knows a named adviser approved their advice.”
