IFA consolidator Absolute Financial ‘in talks’ with eight advice firms

Absolute Financial Group has announced it is ‘in talks’ with eight independent financial adviser (IFA) firms about joining the group.

The IFA consolidator said this pipeline was the start of its strategy to establish a leading independent financial planning business.

Absolute Financial Management was the first firm to join the consolidator in December 2025.

Devon-based HR Independent Financial Services has been announced as the second firm to join Absolute Financial Group.

Absolute Financial Group launched in August 2025 with an equity commitment of £115m from Inflexion Private Equity Partners LLP, Tatton Asset Management plc and the management team.

The addition of HR Independent Financial Services marked a “step towards” the group’s plan to bring advisory businesses within a structure that promoted adviser support, holistic financial planning, and strong client outcomes and values.

“We’re excited for HR Independent Financial Services to be joining Absolute - we share the same values and culture of delivering clients the very best advice, underpinned by strong ethics, integrity while maintaining the legacy of their successful business,” commented Absolute Financial Group CEO, David Carter.

“We are currently in talks with a number of other firms and look forward to growing and strengthening our business with the very best advisers from across the UK.”
