Investment consultancy Bfinance has launched Bfinance Access, a service designed to support wealth managers in providing customised private markets investment solutions to their clients.

Bfinance stated that high net worth individuals (HNWI) were “significantly underexposed” to private markets, with allocations averaging 2 per cent, despite an “overwhelming number” of products available.

While private markets access has become increasingly attainable through platforms and semi-liquid offerings, Bfinance said that wealth managers faced challenges navigating product offerings, gaining access to the best funds, and constructing tailored investment solutions.

Bfinance Access seeks to help address these issues, offering programme and portfolio design, implementation, and post-investment support.

The new service is led by Bfinance head, Bradley Budd, who has held financial service roles at Bank of America and private markets fintech Titanbat, as well as previously being a British Army Officer.

Budd will be supported by Bfinance head of private markets managed investment solutions, Alex Bozoglou, who brings more than a decade of private markets experience to the role.
