Absolute Financial expands in south-east England with four acquisitions

Independent financial adviser (IFA) consolidator Absolute Financial Group has completed four acquisition deals in the south east of England.

Three of these transactions were to acquire the client books of advisers who were retiring, while the fourth deal was to bring an adviser into Absolute Financial to continue advising their clients.

The three acquired firms where the owners were retiring were: T&L Financial Services, the trading name of JM Financial Planning, based in Eastbourne; Paul Tune Financial Services, based in Battle; and Clear Sense Financial Planning, based in Chichester.

Their clients will be transferred to Absolute Financial and be supported by existing planners in the south east.

Meanwhile, Horton Independent Financial Planning, which is based in Canterbury, will continue working with Absolute Financial following the acquisition.

The acquisitions added a combined £134m in assets under advice (AUA) to the group, bringing Absolute Financial’s AUA to more than £2.4bn.

Since Absolute Financial launched in December 2025, it has made 14 acquisitions.

The group said the latest deals highlighted the flexibility of its model, which offers a range of options to owners who can choose to retire, continue working with Absolute Financial following acquisition, or join its Partnership Program.

Under the Partnership Program, Absolute Financial makes an initial investment and agrees a buyout plan for the remaining share capital in the future.

“Our national growth strategy continues at pace with the latest deals demonstrating the flexibility of our model for firm owners and a commitment to working with them to find the best solution for them and their clients,” said Absolute Financial Group CEO, David Carter.

“These deals evidence that we have the capacity to support client books if owners want to retire, as well as providing an offering to those who want to continue working and grow through joining a bigger organisation.

“Flexibility is part of our overall commitment to shared values around the importance of truly independent advice and supporting advisers with the infrastructure, resources, and autonomy they need to deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.”
