Private members' club for investment professionals, AYU, has incorporated Family Office Social (FOS) into its programme to grow its international alternative investment network.
FOS’s community of more than 500 family office professionals will be invited to join the AYU platform and to apply to join its Approved Family Office programme, aiming to “strengthen” both groups and improve the benefits for its community.
AYU is a fundraising and deal flow-focused community of alternative fund and private market professionals.
As part of the new relationship, all FOS members will be given complimentary AYU membership and access to AYU’s events, benefits and connectivity.
FOS was founded in 2021 and is an informal community of family office professionals who meet regularly to discuss ideas and investment opportunities.
The FOS community will continue to run and keep members connected on a casual and conversational basis, and to organise its monthly meetings.
Commenting on the partnership, FOS founder, Sam Nallen Copley, said: “I’ve known AYU founder, Gus Morison, and AYU for many years now and this tie-up is the result of some months of discussion between us.
“I’m delighted to be able to integrate the FOS community that we have carefully nurtured into AYU, opening up the facility for our members to join AYU and access their events, services and deal flow.”
AYU founder, Gus Morison, added: “Since 2017, AYU has established itself as a premier network for family offices and the introduction of FOS into the AYU family represents a significant milestone on that journey.
“As FOS members join our Approved Family Office programme, they’ll add to our ever-growing community and we’ll see more and bigger deals coming through, enabled by the AYU network.”
