AXA Investment Managers (IM) has adopted Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR) labels for three equity funds in the UK, including two ‘Sustainability Improver’ labels.

The firm said it was one of the first investment managers to announce it had adopted the Sustainability Improver labels for two of its funds.

It adopted the improver labels under the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) SDR regime for the AXA UK Sustainable Equity and the AXA Global Sustainable Managed funds.

The funds will continue to pursue financial and sustainability objectives, seeking to support the transition to a net-zero carbon economy by 2025.

Meanwhile, the AXA People & Planet fund will adopt the FCA’s ‘Sustainability Impact’ label as it looks to make positive environmental and societal impacts across three themes: the transition to a low carbon economy, protecting biodiversity, and supporting social progress for all.
