Multi-jurisdictional private client trust and corporate services provider Saffery Trust has announced the launch of its dedicated UK service offering.
It said that the expansion brought 50 years of international experience to the UK market and reinforced the firm’s commitment to meeting clients’ evolving wealth structuring needs.
The expansion in the UK builds on the firm’s established presence in Guernsey, Switzerland, Dubai and the Cayman Islands, with Dominic Lawton-Smith being appointed as managing director of the new UK offering.
Saffery Trust’s team has experience in non-standard luxury assets, digital assets, ESG portfolios, contentious matters, and working with family offices.
Its UK services include asset protection, company directorship and administration, family office, succession planning, trusteeship, and wealth structuring.
With respect to trustee services, Saffery Trust operates in collaboration with Saffery LLP.
The firm said the UK was a natural extension for its international offering, as the regulatory environment, access to adept advisers, and global recognition as a hub for wealth structuring meant the UK continued to be a jurisdiction of choice for high net worth individuals and their families.
“We are excited to bring our global capabilities to the UK, providing clients with tailored, trusted support through every stage of their wealth journey,” said Lawton-Smith.
“We take the time to understand our clients’ personal, financial, business circumstances and objectives in detail to determine the most appropriate solution, whether that’s via co-trustee arrangements with Saffery LLP or Saffery Trust’s sole-trustee and corporate services.
“We also work in partnership with our incredibly strong network of specialist intermediaries built over decades, ensuring our clients have access to the right people at the right time.”
