People moves: Raymond James Wealth Management, Skybound Wealth, and True Potential

Raymond James Wealth Management has appointed Martina Kay as group chief people officer (CPO).

Kay will lead as CPO across both Raymond James Investment Services and Charles Stanley, and will join the Raymond James Wealth Management Group executive committee. Prior to joining Raymond James, Kay served as global HR director at Legal & General Investment Management. Her career also includes senior roles at UBS, Schroders and BlackRock. Kay is a member and chair of the HR Committee at the Investment Association. At Raymond James, she will be responsible for leading the business’ people strategy, as well as focusing on culture, strategic leadership, and employee experience.

Skybound Wealth has named Shil Shah as its group head of tax planning.

Shah brings a decade of tax experience to the role and spent nine years at Deloitte and KPMG, advising business owners, executives, entrepreneurs, non-doms, and internationally mobile families on tax matters. He worked at Apollo Private Wealth as a private wealth adviser, providing private-client planning at scale. In his new role, Shah will lead Skybound Wealth’s tax planning proposition across all regions and sub-brands. Skybound Wealth said the appointment strengthened its global cross-border capabilities as the firm continues its multi-jurisdictional expansion.

True Potential Group has announced the appointment of Laura McCall as its CPO.

McCall is the group’s first permanent CPO and bring more than 17 years of financial services HR experience to the position. Her previous experience includes roles at Scottish National Investment Bank, Martin Currie, NatWest, and, most recently, Baillie Gifford where she was director, global HR business partnering. McCall will take up the position in early 2026 and will be based in True Potential’s headquarters in Newcastle. True Potential said the appointment marked a key moment for the wealth management firm as it enters its next phase of growth.
