M&G has announced the appointment of Kirsty Wright as director of PruFund Proposition, as the firm seeks to further develop its flagship PruFund range of funds.
In this newly created role, Wright will be responsible for developing new propositions within the £62bn smoothed multi-asset PruFund range, first launched in 2004, and is now invested in by over 450,000 customers in the UK, advised by 5,000 advice firms. Wright has joined M&G from LV= where she was head of wealth proposition. Over the past 17 years, she was responsible for the proposition development strategy for its pensions, annuities and investment propositions, including the firm’s Smoothed Managed Fund With-Profits proposition.
Charles Stanley has named Charlotte Aspinall as senior investment manager.
Aspinall, who has more than 20 years of discretionary investment management experience, is a chartered wealth manager and will be based in the firm’s Tunbridge Wells office. She joins Charles Stanley from Mattioli Woods, where was a senior investment manager, chair of the Equity Selection Committee, and a member of the Investment Policy Committee. Prior to this, Aspinall spent 16 years with Charles Stanley, where she originally trained as an investment manager. In her new role, Aspinall will be responsible for managing bespoke investment solutions for high-net-worth clients.
Oaklins Evelyn Partners has appointed Mark Brockway as corporate finance partner in its London office.
Brockway joins the firm from Cooper Parry Corporate Finance, where he spent two years as a partner. Previously he worked in EY’s Corporate Finance team for more than 16 years, latterly as head of London mid-market M&A. He focuses on the tech-enabled services sector and has experience of transactions with private equity investors. The hire aims to build on the growth in the Oaklins Evelyn Partners business over the past three years, which has seen the Corporate Finance team double, with further growth planned.
