People moves: Lombard Odier, Cazenove Capital, and FNZ

Swiss international wealth manager Lombard Odier has appointed Mark Goddard as UK chief executive officer.

Goddard’s appointment will take effect from 26 November 2024, subject to regulatory approval. Based in London, he will report to Lombard Odier (Europe) S.A. CEO, Stephane Herrmann, and UK region head and limited partner, Duncan MacIntyre. In his new role, Goddard will oversee the London office for the bank’s private client division, leading its team of bankers and investment specialists, and continuing to drive Lombard Odier’s growth trajectory in this market. Having begun his career as a banker at Coutts in 2001, Goddard joined UBS in 2005, where he held a variety of senior positions serving UK clients with a particular focus on entrepreneurs. He was most recently UBS head of UK HNW.

Cazenove Capital, the wealth management business of Schroders in the UK, has named Sandra Dailidyte as portfolio manager in Edinburgh.

The firm stated that this newly created role reinforced its commitment to delivering ‘exceptional service’ to its ‘rapidly expanding’ community of entrepreneurs and business owners in Scotland. Dailidyte’s appointment is the latest development in Cazenove Capital’s regional growth strategy. She brings more than 12 years of experience in the financial services industry to the role, having previously worked as client director at Brown Shipley and private client manager at Seven Investment Management.

FNZ has appointed Jan Wohlschiess as group head of operations and delivery.

Wohlschiess will be responsible for overseeing FNZ’s global operations and delivery functions, aiming to ensure the company “continues to provide innovative and transformative solutions” to its global customer base. He has more than 25 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry. Wohlschiess was most recently the managing director and global chief operating officer at Barclays Group, Private Bank and Wealth Management. Prior to this, he held senior roles at Deutsche Bank, including chief operating officer and chief information officer.
