LGT Wealth Management UK has announced that CEO, Ben Snee, will step down and be replaced by Heinrich Henckel, subject to regulatory approval.
Snee will hand over leadership in early 2026 and will remain connected to the firm in a non-executive capacity. Henckel joined LGT in 2009 and was, as a member of LGT Bank Switzerland’s executive board, initially responsible for the Swiss and European client markets, before serving as CEO of LGT Bank Switzerland from 2013 to 2023. His previous experience included working at Baker & McKenzie in Hong Kong, Jakarta and Zurich, and later holding senior positions at the Swiss Stock Exchange, including CEO of SWX Swiss Exchange and member of the SIX Group Executive Board. Henckel will join LGT Wealth Management on 2 January 2026 and assume the role of CEO on 1 February 2026, and is expected to serve for two to three years while the firm searches for and transitions to a permanent successor.
Schroders Wealth Management has made six new appointments to its global leadership team.
Alexander Pronk, who previously worked at Goldman Sachs, UBS, and Credit Suisse, joins as chief executive officer of Europe and the Middle East. At Schroders Wealth Management, he will be responsible for the strategic growth agenda across Europe and the Middle East. Andreas Piepke has been appointed as group chief operating officer, wealth management. He joins from HSBC Private Bank, and will lead Schroders’ wealth operations and transformation agenda. The third appointment was Mark Pickering, who has been named as global head of banking, lending, and trading following over 20 years at Citi. His focus will be on elevating Schroders’ treasury, credit and trading capabilities to better serve UHNW clients globally. Paul Fletcher has joined as global chief marketing officer from Aviva. He will drive Schroders Wealth Management’s global marketing teams, aiming to position the business as a leading provider of client experiences and personalised advice. Kate Rogers has taken on the role of global head of proposition and group collaboration, seeking to drive greater collaboration within the group and align Schroders’ capabilities in investment, private assets, sustainability, and impact. Steve Davenport joins as wealth platform transformation programme manager, with previous roles at Barclays, HSBC, and Deutsche Bank, driving the delivery of the new wealth platform.
Raymond James Investment Services has announced two senior appointments to its wealth management services team.
Chris Cahill joins as divisional director, bringing more than 20 years of experience in financial services to the role. Most recently, Cahill was head of private client consultancy and advice at St. James’s Place Wealth Management, where he led teams supporting high net worth clients through bespoke financial planning and strategic engagement. Meanwhile, Ben Camp-Bell has been appointed as director of wealth management services. He has more than 25 years of experience in financial services, including senior roles at Fairstone and Old Mutual Wealth.
