The Investment Association (IA) has appointed three new directors and two deputy chairs to its board of directors.
Joining the board as directors are L&G CEO, asset management, Eric Adler, Barclays chief executive of private bank and wealth management, Sasha Wiggins, and DWS Group UK country officer and UK chief operating officer, Samantha Alexander, replacing JP Morgan Asset Management’s Patrick Thomson, who was chair, Fiera Capital’s Catherine O’Reilly, and Lansdowne Partners’ Karen Zachary. The deputy chairs appointed to the board are M&G Investment CEO, Joseph Pinto, and Aviva Investors CEO, Mark Versey. Both were existing board members and replace UBS Asset Management’s Nasreen Kasenally, and Euan Munro, formerly of Newton Investment Management.
Wealth management and advice solutions provider GBST has named Steve Knight as head of relationship management.
Knight will lead the firm’s customer engagement strategy, with responsibility for building and maintaining long-term partnerships with key accounts. He brings 25 years of experience in financial services technology to the role. Knight has worked for SS&C Global Investor & Distribution Solutions (formerly DST and International Financial Data Services) since 1999 across several senior positions, most recently as director, head of EMEA client account & service management.
Jersey-based Crestbridge Family Office Services (FOS) has appointed Steve Le Seelleur as managing director.
Le Seelleur has more than 25 years of experience in the fiduciary and wealth management industry across multiple jurisdictions. Prior to joining Crestbridge FOS, Le Seelleur was managing director of the Jersey office of a private equity-owned global financial services business. Before that, he was a director and member of the executive committee of HSBC Private Bank’s trust business in Jersey. At Crestbridge FOS, Le Seelleur has responsibility for the performance of the business, alongside the rest of its senior executive team.
