Gallagher acquires Redington for undisclosed amount

Insurance, risk management, and consultancy firm Arthur J. Gallagher & Co has acquired investment consultancy Redington.

London-based firm Redington provides investment, research, and technology services to wealth managers, pension schemes, and institutional investor clients in the UK.

While the terms of the transaction were not disclosed, it was revealed that Redington CEO, Sylvia Pozezanac, and her team will remain in their current location under the guidance of Gallagher UK employee benefits and HR consulting operations head, David Piltz.

Commenting on the transaction, Gallagher chair and CEO, J. Patrick Gallagher Jr, said that, as a “leader” in the investment consulting space, Redington brought exceptional talent and represented a “fantastic” cultural fit.

“Their deep capabilities in modelling and investment market research will enhance our existing consulting services and help our clients achieve superior financial security outcomes,” he continued.

“I am excited to welcome Sylvia and her associates to our growing Gallagher family of professionals.”

Gallagher is headquartered in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, providing insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting services in around 130 countries around the world.
