Cazenove Capital, a part of Schroders Wealth Management, has announced an expansion of its wealth planning team.
The firm stated that wealth planning was a “critical component” of its wealth management services, and that the new additions signalled its commitment to providing its clients with “best-in-class” wealth planning services.
Nicholas Irby has been appointed as wealth planning director, joining from Brewin Dolphin where he was divisional director.
Irby also previously held senior financial planning roles at Investec and Stonehage Fleming, with Cazenove Capital saying that he would bring a “wealth of experience” in dealing with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients to the role.
Chartered financial planner, Hana Griffin, will take up the role of wealth planner, joining from Cavendish Ware and having previously worked as a financial planner at Succession Wealth.
Another chartered financial planner, Aaron Steel, has joined from Quilter Cheviot, where he spent five years, while Jamie McIntyre has been appointed as senior paraplanner.
McIntyre has previously served as a paraplanner with UBS and brings more than 16 years of experience in financial services.
Finally, Madia Shoukat has taken up the role of client support executive, joining from Evelyn Partners where she was a client administrator.
"We are excited to announce these new additions to the team, signalling Cazenove Capital's commitment to providing our clients with best-in-class wealth planning services,” commented Cazenove Capital head of wealth planning, James Gladstone.
“Ensuring that our clients’ needs are effectively met from the wealth they have acquired is a key part of our Wealth Management proposition.
“Client circumstances vary widely and as our firm grows so does the need for skilled individuals who can provide high-quality, personalised advice.”
