Wealth and investment manager Bordier UK has completed a strategic review of its services and introduced a series of changes to its proposition.

The firm has updated the investment approach for its Risk Targeted Decumulation (RTD) range, moving all core equity exposure within the strategy range, excluding thematic and global allocations, to passive funds.

This has reduced its underlying ongoing charges figures by two to 15bps across the range, while active management will continue to be used in other asset classes, including alternatives.

Within its RTD service, Bordier UK has added a new risk profile, RTD 7, which has an equity allocation of 65 per cent and is designed for advisers with clients in drawdown who can take on more equity risk.

The profile remains aligned to Dynamic Planner’s Risk Managed Decumulation 7 expected annual ‘value at risk’ parameters.

Bordier UK has also renamed its Hybrid Passive and Hybrid Passive Risk Targeted strategies to the Blended Managed Portfolio Service (MPS) and Blended Risk Targeted MPS respectively.

The final change following the review was a reduction in MPS fees, which Bordier UK said would deliver enhanced value for advisers and their clients.
